About the Indigenous Education Awards

The Business Council of Manitoba's mission, is to make Manitoba a preferred place to live, work and invest through community development and equality of opportunity for all Manitobans.

The Business Council of Manitoba's Indigenous Education Awards Program was established by the Business Council of Manitoba in 2001. Over the years, the program has partnered with the governments of Canada, Manitoba, and The Winnipeg Foundation to provide over 2,600 awards totaling more than $6.8 million to Indigenous students.

The Business Council is committed to assist in providing opportunities for Indigenous Manitobans to achieve a post-secondary education and contribute to moving our province forward toward a better future.

 

Medicure's Contribution

In our ongoing effort to support education and community development, Medicure has made a contribution to the Indigenous Education Awards. Our contribution will assist in funding scholarships, educational programs, and resources that directly benefit Indigenous students and educators.

Education has the power to transform lives, and supporting Indigenous education is essential in creating equitable opportunities. By contributing to the Indigenous Education Awards, Medicure is playing a part in:
